Habitat for Humanity may work around the corner from you, but we also work around the world. Through our Global Village program, you’ll expand the breadth and depth of your understanding of Habitat’s work while experiencing the culture and everyday life of another country. Our volunteer trips offer more than just the opportunity to swing a hammer. When you travel and volunteer with Global Village, you’ll experience the country like a local, with the locals. Meet people from around the world with all different kinds of backgrounds, races, and religions.
Spending time with other cultures gives us the opportunity to discover our commonalities. You’ll find that you don’t even need to speak the language.
The Global Village program took a hiatus during the pandemic and is slowly resuming region by region, with a focus on maintaining the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, partners, and the people we serve.
